There’s certainly no shortage of shooting games available for the Android platform, whether it’s hunting big game or blasting aliens into small gooey chunks. There aren’t all that many though, which attempt to recreate the challenges of taking an accurate shot. Shooting Club 2 from XDA Forum Member coder1cv8 does just that.
The game puts you behind the scope of various high powered rifles with a limited supply of ammunition, and requires you to successfully eliminate a certain number of the targets before being able to advance to the next level. You’ll need to take various factors into consideration before pulling the trigger including gravitational pull, wind speed/direction, and even your own heartbeat to make sure you’re on target. Now obviously, we’re talking about a mobile game here, and there’s a limit to just how much realism can be applied to something like this. That said, it’s certainly a refreshing change to the usual point and click shooters that are so abundant. The wide selection of weaponry and different backdrops help to give the game some replay value too.
The game is completely free and runs on Android 1.6 and above. Take a look at the original thread for all the details._________
