Just yesterday we wrote an article about a new Facebook app for Honeycomb devices. Well, it seems that either the devs at Facebook are really not putting the time and effort into it anymore or they just flat out missed the mark with Android and Honeycomb. If you do not believe me, simply check out what XDA member Chris Stewart just cooked for Honeycomb. Friend Me is a full featured app for Facebook users that will provide them with all the tools that are missing from the official FB app, and then some. The app will allow you to do everything from viewing profiles, posting on walls, and sharing pictures and media, all the way to browsing through your own pics and even playing games just like in the site itself. The app is smooth and works rather well, even with multiple accounts.
The dev is looking for feedback and bug reports to try and make the app a bit better. So, if you have a HC enabled device, please take it for a spin and leave your comments.
Friend Me for Facebook offers a tablet-optimized experience for your favorite social network. Friend Me was designed and created exclusively for the Android Honeycomb platform.
– A Photo tab for exploring your photo albums in an exciting way.
– Friend Me offers a Games feature, which will let you play your favorite Facebook game inside of the app. Flash games work as well, thanks to the Android platform.
You can find more information in the application thread.
