Well, as of earlier this week, Amazon’s very own competitor to the Android Market came out into the wild, offering a new version of Angry Birds for free for that day only (as incentive for people to get the app). However, this only had so much reach as this new market cannot be used outside of the US. If you are not completely brokenhearted about this and still believe that you can use it, then XDA member Telanis may have a fix for your app addiction. He posted a few simple steps on how to allow the market to be used even outside of the US. You will need to read up a little bit and look for something called Tor, which would allow the user to obtain a different IP address.
