HTC Wildfire Joins the Honeycomb Party

Not too long ago (in fact, just a few hours ago) we told you how some of the older devices should be kept for a reason, since they pack more punch than our beloved carriers and manufacturers make us believe. Same goes for lower end devices like the HTC Wildfire, which thanks to XDA member ben1066, it just got its first taste of Android 3.0. Due to the little development on this device, the port took a little bit longer than the rest. However, it still made its way through and right now has the same functionality as many higher end devices. Needless to say, tons of things are non-functional, so do not expect to use this as your daily driver. Yet, just like with any sports car, taking it for a test drive should be fun.
If you think that you can contribute to this project, please swing by and leave some feedback for the dev.
Yes, at last it’s here. This is a basic port from the honeycomb full SDK and more doesn’t work than does work, unfortunately.
