In-App Wifi Toggle for Android

In-App Wifi Toggle for Android

Do you find it annoying when you need to activate wifi on your Android device but have to come out of the app that you’re in to do so?

Well, now there’s an app to fix that!  XDA forum member HaggleLad, has written an app so that you can toggle your wifi connection without leaving your current app.  This includes the Browser application, Home screen – in fact from any context!

There’s no actual launcher icon or widget so no extra clutter in your app drawer.  Instead, HaggleLad has linked the toggle to two buttons – or three actions.

Originally posted by HaggleLad:

  • Long press of Search button
  • Long press of Call button
  • Short press of Call button

When toggling, a toast message is displayed stating whether the wifi connection was enabled or disabled.

In-App Wifi Toggle is available for free in the Market.  For more information, check out the application thread.
