Android’s home screen keeps getting better and better as time goes by. This time, XDA member mmone3 has just developed a very interesting interactive live wallpaper for his Nexus One. According to the dev, the images that make the background are made of blocks, which will rapidly react to either feedback from the user’s input or by the tilt sensor. The image breaks into blocks that will move according to the interaction type.
Even though this looks very good, any feedback is welcomed by the dev.
This is my first android active opengl 3D wallpaper. Its tilt sensitive and when you touch the wallpaper it causes a ripple effect in the blocks. I have some options to remove the random z axis movement and two different block textures.
I’ve only tested it on my nexus one, and I’m looking for feedback(ideas) and how it runs on other active wallpaper enabled devices.
Thank for trying it out.
