The XDA-Developers community is made up of people from all walks of life. We have users living all across the globe, and rocking countless numbers of different devices. But regardless of our choice of device and OS, one thing holds us all together: We are all power users. And as power users, we like being able to keep track of what’s happening on our mobile devices at all times.
Luckily, there are quite a few options available for system monitoring and information on practically every platform. And being built upon Linux, Android is certainly no exception. However, it’s not uncommon to have to dig through several different applications to get the level of monitoring that you need. Luckily, XDA Forum Member zikkapp created an application that sets forth to take care of all of your monitoring needs from one handy application.
The aptly titled Device Monitor & Inspector is a system monitor app for Android that gives you detailed information about your OS, CPU utilization, running processes, storage, RAM, battery stats, installed apps, connected networks, firmware, sensors, and more. Basically, almost everything you want to keep track of is housed within the app. In order to keep things tidy, the application divides up all of the information into eight pages: system, storage/memory, battery, apps, network, telephony, device, and software/firmware.
If you’ve ever wanted a tool that can keep track of practically anything on your Android device, Device Monitor & Inspector may well fit the bill. Head over to the application thread to get started.
