Ever had the dire need to check your time in a quiet place, without the ability to pull out your phone from your pocket? If so, XDA member upperTriangle has a solution for you. HaptiClock is a new concept of app, where the device will respond to any type of feedback from the user (shake, tap on the screen, and more). The app will then respond with a series of vibrations that can be interpreted as the time. The device’s screen does not have to be on for the program to tell you what you are looking for.
The app is still in beginning stages, so it may still have a few bugs. Please report any and all feedback on the threat.
haptiClock vibrates you the time (haptic feedback) if you shake/bump/tap your phone. It works when your screen is off, doesn’t use much battery. The pattern to decipher the time from the pulses is simple to learn.
Great for checking the time on the sly, or when you can’t pull your phone out.
You can find more information in the application thread._________
