Many of you may be familiar with Microsoft’s Voice Command, but only a handful of you probably remember version 1.0 of this app. Aside from being very stable and have excellent voice recognition capabilities, the app did something that was later removed from version 1.5 and later. It would read out loud certain things and events in your PDA. It would read the caller’s name, tell you what appointments you had and when, it would read tasks, and a few other things that made this a great piece of software. Although, the concept for these kinds of apps is not new, but we still love the idea of our devices letting us know things as if they were our very own personal assistant. With this in mind, XDA member TomTasche has released an updated version of his SayMyName Dessert. This app does many of the things mentioned before with the only difference that this is for Android running Cupcake and above.
The new update includes various fixes and features that were requested from the dev. Make sure that the correct version is installed as one of the two available versions is for Cupcake and the other is for anything above Donut.
