In some devices, returning to stock can be a challenge. Just ask anyone who’s needed to return an HTC phone to where they bought it. Getting un-rooted, back to stock ROM, stock kernel and removing all traces of yourself in the root sections of the phone can be tough.
For those toting the LG Thrill 4g, that is one fewer problem they can consider themselves to have thanks to XDA Recognized Developer The Dark Lestat. The Dark Lestat has posted about a method that will return an LG Thrill to all it’s stock goodness. The process is pretty long, but thorough and by the time you’re done it’ll be like the minute you took it out of the box. There are a few requirements:
You’ll need to be rooted.
Superuser and SU have to be updated to the latest app and binary
You’ll need to have the LG Thrill
All your data backed up
From there, you just gotta get the Recovery Manager application and the LG Flasher Package and you’re ready to begin the tutorial.
