LGCamera Application Brings Better Camera Experience

While many people don’t base their smartphone purchases solely on their camera hardware and software, it is nice knowing that you have at least a competent shooter readily available when you need to snap a quick pic. For some, though, the camera software experience can be very important. As such, there have been a number of camera mods and applicaitons in the near recent past, and the hits just keep rolling.
XDA Forum Member RubberBigPepper has developed a camera application called lgCamera. Do not let the name fool you, it’s not sourced from an LG device. However, it works pretty well, and some users have even reported that it works better than their native camera software. While technically in beta, it potentially has a few bugs. However, RubberBigPepper has been especially receptive in fixing those reported by users, and most users report a good experience with it already. Some of the features include:
-Zoom control by Volume control buttons.
-Autoshutter can be activated by long press onScreenShutter button.
-Camera parameters control (white balance, color effects, flash modes, focus modes, ISO and etc.)
-Video quality control ( resolution, encoder, format mp4 or 3gp, bitrate, framerate).
-Audio quality control (encoder, sampling eate, bitrate).
The only major issue currently left is making the app compatible with all devices, but for most it works pretty well.
