Lines & Puzzles – Reinventing A Classic

Most of us have at least a few games installed on our phones or tablets to pass the time every now and then. If not, I can only presume that you hate fun and need to lighten up a little. However if you find yourself weary of aimlessly flinging anatomically inaccurate avian projectiles into precariously balanced porcine dwellings, or if you are fed up of sprinting through a seemingly endless jungle pursued by ghoulish wraiths upset about the fact that you have just plundered their temple, why not try a game that actually involves some thought?
Lines & Puzzles by XDA Forum Member mocelet2000 is pretty much three games in one: Standard tic-tac-toe, non-gravitational four-in-a-row, and freestyle gomoku (I had to Google that one). All games are playable on boards of varying sizes up to 15×15, and in a variety of skins such as wood, chalk, sand and neon. As well as the standard game play, the app also offers an extensive selection of puzzling scenarios to test out your skills. Who knows? Maybe one day you’ll be good enough to challenge renowned tic-tac-toe champion Johnny Beauregard.
The app is available for Android 2.2 or above, and looks just as good on either a small or larger screen. Pay a visit to the original thread for more details.
