We originally wrote about this app back in June of last year. More recently we also featured its sibling project, Lines & Puzzles. Four in a Row has come a long way since we first covered it, boasting a rather impressive half a million installations and a top 20 position in the Play Store puzzle category. Needless to say, XDA Forum Member mocelet2000 is very happy with the reception his app has received.
Four in a Row recently received a major update incorporating a complete UI overhaul and the addition some new and more challenging puzzles, taking the total to over 300. On top of that, the application is now fully in keeping with the Android design guidelines, integrating the action bar and a page viewer to browse the puzzles. Probably the most appealing feature of the application is that it allows for no-signup online multiplayer, and it can match you against opponents of similar skill. Just hope you don’t get matched up with mocelot2000 himself, as I’d imagine he’s quite good.
Available for devices running Android 1.6 and above and completely free, this is well worth checking out if you’re a fan of puzzle games. Head on over to the application thread for more info._________
