Games are a great portion of the Android apps market, and there’s no question about it, with people’s Android devices being not only for calling, texting and work, but also for entertainment, and more particularly, gaming. So it’s no wonder that numerous apps, many being games, are introduced on the XDA forums everyday. This time, it’s Manuganu.
Introduced by XDA Forum Member dahi, Manuganu is an extremely well polished, side scrolling game with gorgeous 3D graphics. The aim of the game is to guide our little fellow Manuganu, through varying terrain, requiring him to run, jump, dodge, climb and swing to safety at the ‘other end.’ Running through grassy, snowy and mountainous biomes, Manuganu has to jump from platform to platform, dodge giant swinging axes and hammers, climb walls, and swing from rope to rope—all while collecting set numbers of ‘BlueStones’ and Medallions to beat the high score.
The 3D graphics are very ‘cartoony,’ yet do not skip on detail and atmosphere, and the background music is lighthearted and fast paced. The language in ‘Manuganu’ can also be interchanged between English and Turkish with the tap of a button on the game’s home screen.
Dahi has developed an extremely well polished and engaging game for the Android platform, with future updates supporting iOS. It’s fun and free, and compatible with Android versions 2.2 and up. So if you like the sound of Manuganu, make sure to check out the original thread for more details._________
