Make Your Galaxy Tab More Versatile Thanks to USB Host Functionality

We all want one thing with our devices, and that is that they become an ultimate electronic Swiss Army knife. One feature that only certain devices are privy to is the ability to use their USB ports as hosts in order to accept external devices such as input hardware like keyboards and mice, as well as memory devices like thumb drives and others. Thanks to the efforts of XDA member punkgeek, the owners of the original Galaxy Tab can now enjoy the benefits that USB host capabilities bring with it. The dev seems to have included the required modules into a kernel, which he has shared with the rest of the community.
Please be sure to try it out in tour tab and make sure that you leave feedback as well as what types of devices you were able to connect to your favorite tab.
I’ve just added USB host mode support for the Galaxy Tabs.
You can find more information in the original thread.
