One of the biggest traits of having a smartphone as opposed to a regular cell phone is that you can do things to impress your friends. We have seen apps that simulate someone drinking beer, lighter, guns with cocking action, even one that sounds like a whip when you shake your device as if it were a whip. This time, if you have security cameras anywhere near by or in your house, you can take a few pics of what the cams monitor and then use XDA member bompo‘s app to make these pics look as if you were getting a feed from those cameras, as your live wallpaper. The app will allow you to give any picture in your album all sorts of effects and distortions that you would normally get from the feed of a security camera (scan lines, choppiness, frame by frame motion, and much more).
So, if you feel like getting someone to scratch their heads for a second or two as to how you are doing that, please swing by and try this app. Leave some feedback as well if you find any bugs or have suggestions.
Add a security camera effect on your pictures! Make your phone background look like live footage from a security camera.
This live wallpaper adds contrast, vigneting, color separation, tint, tv lines and brightness flicker on your pictures. You can chose any picture from your gallery as background.
