Make Your Own ICS Boot Animations for the HTC Rezound

It’s a well known fact that Android users generally love theming. Let’s face it, while they’re very appreciated and important, battery saving kernel modules just don’t fan the flames of fanboyism as much as a user’s favorite theme does. And many users identify with their devices more when their favorite theme is up and running.
One aspect of theming that adds to the overall feel of a device is the boot animation. Much like a job interview, the boot animation is the first real interaction a user has with any Android device and, of course, it’s a little easier dealing with a boot-loop when you actually enjoy the boot animation. With this in mind, XDA Senior Member racinwarrior has posted a method that will allow users of the HTC Rezound to bring their favorite boot animations to ICS by helping them make their own.
The method is pretty standard and requires the use of an already existing Boot Animation Creator by XDA Senior Member despotovski01 along with the specific settings and files required to bring the animation to life specifically for the HTC Rezound running Ice Cream Sandwich.
If porting your favorite Gingerbread boot animation to ICS or even porting boot animations from other devices to the HTC Rezound, then check out racinwarrior’s boot animation thread for additional details, full instructions and download links. Since the Boot Animation creator works for a variety of devices, anyone who wants to give boot animations a try can click the Boot Animation Creator link above and check that out as well. As usual, don’t forget to perform a back up before flashing anything. It’s always a good idea.
