Manage Your Device Settings With Style – Quicker Settings for Android

If you are like many Android users, you probably access the Settings section of your device an awful lot. Everything important for us is in there such as brightness, wireless network setup, accounts and sync, and even general information about your device, kernel and more. However, the interface itself is simple text with no flavor to it, and just putting shortcuts in your homes screens doesn’t cut it either. With this in mind, XDA memberĀ beworker created Quicker Settings, which basically is a GUI that resembles the home screen where all the settings are located. You can rearrange them as you wish and easily use many of them as toggle switches. It also features descriptions for several of the numerous settings, which the original Android interface does not have (the original settings page simply has a few short sentences on what each thing does.

This is still in beta, but the dev claims that it is stable enough for a release. Please leave some feedback if you run into any bugs.

Although it’s not a home replacement it behaves and fills very similar it. You can add, move or delete settings as if it was a normal home screen – everything starts with a long tap on a home screen.

Required Android version: 2.0 or higher (sorry 1.6 & 1.5 guys)

You can find more information in the application thread.
