Having to deal with low quality calls is, simply put, annoying. To have to deal with dropped calls even more so. However, rarely is it the fault of the device and usually more along the lines of the fault of the carrier network. That, of course, doesn’t mean that it hurts to be able to help the signal strength along.
The mod is easy to apply and requires only that you’re rooted and your favorite file manager, be it ES File Explorer or Root Explorer. From there, it’s editing the old build.prop file. AT&T and Australia have their own mods to be applied, so make sure you’re paying attention as to which ones you’re applying. Says djscopesofm:
This will not increase the power of your antenna or increase radiation. All this does is choose the best profiles for EDGE/HSDPA/HSUPA. Its proven to increase speed and connection strength.
So for anyone who wants to try to give their signal a little boost, you can find all the info and list of modifications to make in the original thread. As always, make sure you do a backup before attempting, just in case something goes wrong._________
