Modify Stock Launcher on Galaxy Nexus to Add More Icons

Previously we posted about a way to remove the persistent Google search bar that is present on all screens of Ice Cream Sandwich by disabling the Google Search app. XDA Recognized Developer djmcnz has taken this concept as step further to allow you to place icons in place of the Google search bar, which wasn’t possible with the previous hack. Not only that, his mode allows you to choose between 3 and 5 homescreens. You must be rooted for this to work, and the modified stock launcher is intended for the Galaxy Nexus.
