Motorola Droid Gets Early ICS Port, Still Work-In-Progress

The original Motorola Droid is one of the devices that definitely isn’t going to get an official Android 4.0 update, but fret not, as forum member kfazz has managed to get an early port of Ice Cream Sandwich working. Make no mistake, this isn’t going to be your daily driver, or beta, or even alpha – no, the dev labels his ROM as pre-pre-alpha.

Still, if you’re willing to take the risk and, ideally, provide some helpful feedback to the dev, jump into the forum thread and get downloading.
