Our stance on adding forums to this site has slightly changed. However, there are certain new and upcoming phones that we cannot turn our backs to. One such device is the Motorola Droid X2, which is the successor of the hugely popular Motorola Droid X, which happened to be Verizon’s flagship for a while before more powerful phones started coming out from different manufacturers like Samsung and HTC. It comes with several improvements over its older brother such as a higher resolution display, bumping the bar up for qHD display (boasting at 960 x 540 pixels) and a dual core 1 GHz Tegra processor just like the Motorola Atrix. Some of the features that were carried over were the 8 MP camera, dual LED flash, and Android 2.2 (Froyo), which to be honest is kind of disappointing. Seeing how other phones are no longer shipping with Froyo, Motorola will likely release a Gingerbread update sometime soon (we hope).
If you have one already, or are thinking about getting one, please share your thoughts and findings with other users in the newly created forum.
