There is a lot of scripting fun to be had with Android. Whether it be init.d or a build.prop tweak or even built into the framework and SystemUI files, developers have put scripts into every nook and cranny of Android with each method having its advantages and disadvantages.
Most rooted Android users have heard of Apps2SD, a script that moves your apk files to your SD card to save space on the internal memory. However, a script set that is a tad more obscure are the scripts that move items to and from the SD-ext partition on the SD card. XDA Senior Member dk_zero-cool released Mount2SD, the all-in-one answer to everyone’s SD-ext moving concerns.
Mount2SD has taken pretty much every script out there dealing with the SD-ext partition and moved it into one easy to understand GUI for users to take full advantage of the many possibilities of SD-ext. Some of the functions include moving:
There are several more functions as well that will take pretty much whatever you want and move it to the SD-ext partition to save space and, in some cases, may even increase performance.
