Move Selected Apps To SD With Link2SD App

If you want to only move specific applications to SD you might be hard pressed to find an app that will do this for you. Most of you will have heard of app2sd, however at the time of writing this moves all applications to SD.

XDA forum member bakpinar didn’t want to move his launcher, soft keyboard and dialer application to SD which would make them unavailable on boot if the SD card ever had a problem or was not inserted. In order to resolve this problem, he developed Link2SD.

The Android app links to the SD card ext2 partition but differs in two ways: One, instead of linking /data/app you can select specific applications and two, Link2SD is an application which means it has a user interface. The UI enables you to manage your application and create or remove links with just one click.

Link2SD requires root access.
