Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to bring together the online video content that you love, without having to flick through an enormous list of thumbnails before deciding what you actually want to watch? Well Moxee, an application developed by XDA Senior Member Meticulus aims to do just that. The app was conceived as a way to bridge that gap between online content and traditional TV. In the developer’s own words:
With television there was always something on but with online content you have to pick and choose everything to watch. Moxee, like television allows you to pick what you don’t want to watch. You just turn it on, add sources and Moxee churns up video after video non stop. If you don’t like what it’s playing skip to the next video.
The application comes with various default sources from various YouTube channels and search queries, which you can add to or remove as with ease. You can import your own channel subscriptions and add any podcasts you follow. Then, sit back and enjoy the good old fashioned feeling of flipping through channels, complaining that there’s never anything good on.
Moxee is still at quite an early stage, and the developer would greatly appreciate any feedback on how the app performs on different devices and versions of Android, so be sure to leave some. You can grab the APK from the forum thread._________
