Multi-touch Keyboard for EVO 4G

When we posted our side-by-side comaprison between the HTC EVO 4G and the Motorola Droid X, one of the most notable additions to the Motorola was the unique multi-touch keyboard. This allows for faster typing, giving you the opportunity to hold down buttons when necessary (the ‘shift’ key, for example) rather than having to toggle them on and off.
It wasn’t long before the multi-touch keyboard was ported to the EVO, as it also has a nice, shiny capacitive touchscreen that’s perfect for the job. However, many users held off from installing it as the Motorola-themed keys didn’t bode well with Sense’s trademark green.
Luckily, XDA member enragedpaza has modified the keyboard, changing the highlight colour to coincide with the familiar grassy tones of HTC’s interface. Thanks to this, EVO owners can enjoy the latest in text input technology without having to sacrifice the pleasing aesthetics of the HTC_IME keyboard.
You can download the revised keyboard in the modification thread.
