mWidget Beta – Text Clock, Date, Battery, Weather And More!

Fans of the popular mClock widget will be pleased to hear that XDA forum member knoxcoder has now released the first beta of mWidget, the new widget to replace mClock.

Features so far include:

Fully editable widget layout and properties
Export widget as a theme
Import theme (WIP)
Main launcher to edit and created widget (in apps folder)
Clock, date, battery, shapes
Custom fonts, colours, gradients, shadows, blur, autosize
Low battery usage (only updates when the screen is on)

Future developments listed by knoxcoder are Tap to launch, weather, complete theme support, and other languages.

The dev has requested some help with the widget icon, widget name and more, so head on over to the application thread to download the apk and give a helping hand.
