A while back, we posted an article that talked about an application for putting your personal touch on the Android NBH files prior to flashing. This was created by XDA member loserskater and since then, he has released a few updates with the latest being 4.0. Aside from the list of updates that he has implemented over the last few months, this latest incarnation of the program was completely re-written using Python, which according to the dev, should make the app much better regardless of the system being used.
The dev mentions that he is looking for feedback, so make sure that you drop by the thread and leave some feedback.
Thanks to l1q1d for lighting the fire and doing the initial coding.
Converted everything over to python which means that it should run on all systems a LOT better.
Kaiser users: Added ability to set ‘/sys/module/board_kaiser_battery/parameters/battery_capacity’ manually instead of calculating it from the mAh.
Hopefully fixed Ubuntu and Mac problems.
- Need separate files because the “reading” system wasn’t working correctly.
- It will now set everything as defaults when opening any file.
- I’ll try to make this work better, but for now it at least opens.
Now made it unable to overwrite the file you’re opening. This will prevent errors on save that some people are experiencing.
Changed Kaiser battery settings again. Still use the mAh on the battery.
Hopefully it should be reading it better now.
Altered battery setting for Kaiser.
-Now uses (value * 1.6) instead of just the value.
-Will hopefully have better battery readings.
(Not sure if this is the correct formula so let me know. Always taking input from others experiences)
You can find more information in the program thread.___________________
