Never Lose Track of Your Mobile Balance With Prepay Widget

Not too long ago, we touched upon one rather large competitive advantage in Android’s arsenal–widget support. In addition to sprucing up our home screens aesthetically, they can also serve quite practical applications. Previously, XDA forum member ftgg99 brought us news of Balanced, an application that provided balance information for your mobile plan from the comfort of a home screen widget.
Growing out of beta and acquiring a healthy set of new features, it also dons a new name: Prepay Widget. One of the most exciting new features is the optional use of root, which allows the commands to be executed without even seeing a dialer. Because of this, the app can work completely silently, even while the screen is switched off.
In the words of the developer:
Your balance, free minutes, traffic and SMS as simple text widgets!
Operators use short commands like *100# or *123# to deliver useful information or allow customers to control the services they are signed up for. Prepay Widget uses these commands to monitor your account balance, the status of free minutes and SMS or remaining data traffic.
With our root functionality, you never have to see the dialer – the app works in total silence and never turns on the screen!
- Root functions are unique
– Silent updates – never see the dialer
– Screen never turns on, saving battery
– Understands SMS replies
- Easy parsing
– Sequential replies
– Powerful customization
– Smart text widgets
– Highly customizable updates
– Low profile
– Lowest battery use in class
