Avid forum lurkers and F5 mashers might notice a few new sub-forums spring up today, on some of the most popular Windows Mobile devices. The Blackstone (Touch HD), Raphael (Touch Pro), Topaz (Touch Diamond2), Kovsky (XPERIA X1) and Rhodium (Touch Pro2) ‘Android Development’ forums are online now, and are designed to increase support and awareness of projects such as XDAndroid.
The XDAndroid project (among others) works on porting the Google Android operating system to some devices originally running Windows Mobile 6.1+. This follows the success of porting Android to the HTC Vogue (Touch CDMA), for which Android ROMs are now as available and as stable as the WinMo alternatives.
