New App For Android Determines Whether or Not You Should Wear Pants

The most important question when waking up in the morning is whether or not you should wear pants. Logic (and the law) typically answer that question for us, but in some cases, the weather plays a factor—like when it’s below freezing outside, it’s probably a good idea to wear pants. Now, there is an application that gives you clothing tips based on the weather outside.
XDA Forum Member Floppie7th, along with a developer team, developed an application called “Should I Wear Pants?” and it’s actually pretty useful. Despite the comical name, it’s actually a weather application with a very unique customization. As Floppie7th explains:
“Should I Wear Pants?” is a novelty weather app that takes your location, gender, and temperature preferences, retrieves your local weather, and lays out for you what to wear.
Here are some of the features:
Jacket versus T-shirt
Pants versus shorts
Temperature preferences for all available slots
Temperature units preference – Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin
Optionally, fun holiday outfits on major holidays (US holidays, that is – for those outside the US, we’re open to adding outfits for your holidays, we just don’t have them yet)
This is a very nifty application that puts an end to those days when you have to open the back door and take a half-step outside to see how cold it is. Based on the weather and temperature, the app lets you know what you would wear based on your preferences. How cool is that?
