New Drawer and Home Icons for MetaMorph

New Drawer and Home Icons for MetaMorph

For those of you who might be unfamiliar with the concept of ‘drawers’ (and no we don’t mean underwear) the ‘drawer’ is the name given to the dragable tab at the bottom of all Android builds. It’s usually recognizable by a small arrow or a grid icon, depending on the Android build and customisation.

Xda-dev user Chronzz creates drawer modifications, meant to be used with the Metamorph app, which is available in the Android Market, on a Nexus One. He has recently added some new mods to his considerable list of drawer mods, the new designs include a skull and crossbones, the Android icon and, in my opinion coolest of all, the Batman symbol.

The new icons are also compatible with the Helix Launcher 2, a very useful app that allows you to place functional shortcuts next to the drawer icon, although users of the Helix Launcher must follow the given instructions at the bottom of the first post in the thread to see their new icons working properly.

Continue on to the thread for more information.
