Obsqr: Simple and Lightweight Code Scanner

If you ever use QR codes, even if only occasionally, you probably a have a QR code scanner installed on your device. A lot of these apps are jam packed with various extra features and options, which is great. However, if all you want to do is simply scan a code now and again, you may find yourself taking unnecessary steps to do just that.
That’s where Obqsr comes in, it was developed by XDA member trikita after becoming frustrated with some of the overly complex code readers out there. The application is incredibly lightweight with an APK size of only 150kb and simply performs its one purpose—scanning codes. It’s capable of dealing with the most common of codes out there such as URL, E-Mail, geolocation, contact info, plain text and
Android Mar.. sorry, Google Play links. Languages currently supported are English and Russian, but the developer states that help with translations to other languages would be welcomed.
Other bonuses include the fact that the Obsqr is completely ad free and open source, so if you are a developer looking to create a similar app, this might be the perfect place to begin.
