Optimus 3D Gets an Easier Root Method

Some of the best mods, hacks, and leaks have been hidden on websites that XDA members don’t usually go to. Thankfully in most cases, those methods do eventually make it to the XDA forums where everyone can enjoy it. Sometimes its something new, like a leak for a device, but sometimes it’s an easier way of doing something we already know how to do. One instance is a Russian website that’s been hiding a much easier way to root the LG Optimus HD.
Posted to XDA by Senior Member Eklovya, the method should bring an easier alternative to root methods already in place. It should also work on most variants of the Optimus 3D, including the LG Optimus 3D Max P720, LG Optimus 3D Max P725 AND LG Opitmus Cube SU870.
The method really is very simple. You download and install an APK, run it, reboot your phone, then run the included root.bat file. After that, it’s a matter of getting SuperSU and the binaries updated, getting Busybox and pretty much anything else you need. Eklovya is also working on getting ClockworkMod recovery support for the variants of the Optimus 3D that don’t have it.
