Most devices out there nowadays have been blessed with ports in one way or another. Seldom, we see these updates coming from manufacturers themselves, but more often than not, we see them thanks to all the hard work that our developers put on our site day in and day out. Such is the case for Jelly Bean, which is currently on version 4.2.1 in the AOSP. The incremental revision (0.0.1) fixes a number of bugs and instability issues that came along with the introduction of 4.2 last month. This new OS has already started manifesting itself in several sub forums under the name of CM10.1, as well as others that are simply called AOSP. One such ROM is the one made by XDA Forum Member RaymanFX, and it can be found for the OG Transformer (TF101).
The ROM is a pure AOSP rom with lots of the new features that you crave, such as the new keyboard, 4.2 camera with Photosphere, extended quick toggles, and much more. That said, not everything I just mentioned is functional in the ROM, and the rather clear indication of the version number should be hint enough that this is indeed a work-in-progress. However, with most releases, the dev tends to fix a bunch of broken stuff before releasing the next one. And judging by some of his previous work, you can likely expect to see a relatively bugless build in no time.
The dev is aware of most bugs, but if you happen to try it out and find something weird, please feel free to report it. Using logcats is preferred, so keep that in mind to make the best out of your bug report. Happy flashing!
