In the most recent innovations for most Android devices, there is an app that has taken ‘root’ among Android users. This is called “1-Click Root”, and it is available for many devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S series, the EVO, and many more. Now, it is the time for the HTC Buzz-Wildfire to get a shot at freedom. XDA member MartinEve has created a program to allow for a software root solution, which basically will grant some SuperUser permissions, but it is not the complete root. However, the dev says that he is in the process of trying to make the process into a true 1-Click root in order to be able to install goodies such as the beloved Cyanogenmod. Drop in the thread and help the dev if you know something about rooting.
As posted the other day, I have managed to get a temporary software-only root solution that will allow you to run some applications that require su. I am currently in discussion with some of the unrEVOked team to take this a step further and get the NAND protection defeated, clockworkmod etc. For now, though, I present an extremely simple, low risk, software root. Yes, it’s not quite 1-click (it’s 1-click once you’ve done the initial steps), but it’s pretty easy.
You can find more information in the application thread._________
