Handheld devices are more powerful these days, not because better hardware allow us to talk on the phone better (albeit better radio hardware does help with signal issues), but rather because they are marketed to us in such a way that we think about them as entertainment devices. Sure, there are portable game systems like the Sony PSP Vita, the Nintendo 3DS, and quite a few others, but most people do not like carrying too many devices around. Plus, some grown-up business men would likely get a stare or two if they were seen in the office mashing buttons on a PSP. Because of all this, we need some inconspicuous games that can keep our volatile minds entertained for longer than 15 seconds. This is exactly where puzzle games and brain teasers come in handy. To add one more notch to the proverbial bed post, XDA Forum Member dotstudio has added a new type of puzzle game to keep you entertained.
Pick Lock is a game that certainly will get your noggin going. The objective of each level is to position the jewels in the right places and with the right orientation so that you can unlock the code. The jewels need to be placed in the right spot on the board. And as an added kick, the board can be rotated to change the orientation of this piece. Your objective is to ensure that the pieces are in the correct spot at the end of the game. The game has great graphics and the game play is smooth. Oh, and just so that you do not get used to the levels, they are randomly generated every time you start the app, so you will likely never play the same level twice.
Please leave some feedback for the dev as the game is still under development. Suggestions and bugs are always welcome. Now go have fun at work!
The goal of this game is to match the target pattern using two actions – translation and rotation.
