Play Virtual Space Drums with FLOW

Drumming in video games isn’t very typical. There are a bunch of games that allow you to play guitar or bass, and some that will let you sing or dance. However, outside of the popular video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, there hasn’t been much gaming love for drummers. In fact, the last good way to play drums with your hands was bouncing your pencil off your desk in school. Now, there’s something a little more fun.
XDA Forum Member FloydFlowrider has released a game called Flow: A Space Drum Saga. The name alone should get drummers pretty excited. It glows, it has drums, and it’s in space. The game is much like Guitar Hero or Rock Band in a sense that you have to hit buttons to a certain beat. The difference is that instead of having notes flow down at you, you are given a basic template of the beat that you must emulate. The game play is fairly challenging, but fun once you get used to it.
The game’s real draw is its quirk. You’re not just drumming for digital fans, but you’re drumming to save a planet. It doesn’t get much more intense than that. Plus, every now and then, you get a little verbal smack down from a naked, aqua-colored alien who dances to techno music. Flow is free in the Google Play store, and it’s definitely a fun way to kill some time. If you’re interested, check out the original thread.
