Polish Your People Shots with Portrait Lens

Aside from sensor size, one of the main features that differentiates cell phone cameras from their dedicated large camera counterparts is lens quality. On a full-frame DSLR, it’s not uncommon to spend upwards of $2000 on a single, high quality lens. This buys you many things from a fast aperture to low distortion and high acuity. And with this fast aperture, you can get some wonderful bokeh.
Now, on a cell phone camera (with a standard sized lens), you’ll never get any appreciable amount of bokeh. However, you can always try to simulate the background blur effect in post processing. XDA Forum Member finder07 created an application that does this, as well as a few other neat portrait effects, in a well-polished and simple to use app.
Portrait Lens allows you to simulate the bokeh effect of longer and faster lenses. It also allows you to apply effects such as color filters, and you can even remove skin blemishes and wrinkles. When you’re done editing, you can output at up to 3 MP resolution.
Make your way over to the application thread to get started._________
