Polished T-Mobile G2 Battery Cover

Some members like to go deeper when personalizing their devices, even further than just software. XDA member znanoDA took a step into personalizing the body of the device itself, making a chrome polished finish for the battery cover of the G2. All started because the plastic layer started to peel, which is a problem many will be familiar with. After noticing this, he decided to use sand paper to get rid of the plastic. The finished work looked nice and shiny. The original poster mentions that he used the following materials:

Automotive Wet/Dry sand paper
400-600-800-1000-1500-and finally 2000 grit

Be aware that the only responsible for making this will be you, so proceed with caution. If you have another method, please join the thread and share your experiences.

So the clear coat on the battery cover to my phone was peeling so i decided to polish it

Used basically wet sanded it with the sandpaper in the order described and used eagle one nano wheel polish.
