Prevent Full Charge Notification On SGS2

If you’re one of the lucky people to have got hold of the coveted Samsung Galaxy S 2, you might still have something to moan about – the full charge notification.

Present also in the original SGS i9000, the full notification charge is fine during the day, however if you are one of many that plug their devices in overnight in order to wake up to a full charge, it gets pretty annoying to be woken up by your SGS 2 in the middle of the night.

XDA moderator pulser_g2 has anticipated this, in advance of receiving his own SGS 2 and has modified the SystemUI.apk to fix this and documented the annoying issue using a rather amusing comic strip.

Remember to back up the original files and you’ll need to push the replacement apk using ADB since the SystemUI.apk is constantly called.
