Do you have different profiles on your Android for different places, times, and occasions? You may want to autosync your business email account and turn off your personal Facebook account upon arrival at the office, or sync your personal calendar and emails when you’re at your friend’s place. The possibilities are almost boundless with Account Sync Settings Profiler.
Independently developed by XDA Recognized Developer bartito, Account Sync Settings Profiler allows users to created differing and customizable profiles for syncing accounts such as emails, Facebook, and Google accounts. Profiles can be created to activate user-defined accounts according to different rules and conditions. For instance, you can set it to activate your Facebook and Google accounts when your device is within vicinity of a certain WiFi network or when your battery falls below a certain threshold. Other conditions include the device within range of a selected Bluetooth device, connected to selected phone cells, and within a user-determined time period.
There are two activation modes, activating a profile if all conditions are active or at least one condition is active. There is also a concurrent, open-source project for translations of the app for users who prefer another language.
Working with Android versions Gingerbread and newer, there is no doubt that Account Sync Settings Profiler will be extremely useful for many Android users. Available on the Play store for free, make sure to check out the original thread for more details.
