Progress On The Bootloader Cracking for Xperia X10

All the hype from the world of Motorola devices and how their unbreakable system was hacked seem to be inspiring owners of other branded devices to think about the possibility of freeing their devices. XDA member HunteronX has posted a series of quotes from this rather old thread, starting on January of this year. Apparently, since the release of teh X10, people have been working really hard at cracking this open to allow true flashing of recoveries and bootloader, which seem to be rather tightly locked. As this device is Sony branded, it does not surprise us one bit as they have become rather famous for trying to prevent people from tinkering with the internals in their products.
In any case, the latest quotes in the thread show rather promising insights from some of the devs working towards this goal. This includes but is not limited to an explanation about RSA keys and how to obtain them for this device. If you think you can be of any help towards this project, please drop by the thread and make your contribution.
Don’t know if this is any help or useful info for any of the devs.
But managed to check the code in the lib_s1_verification.so file
Here’s the boot sequence.
These files is what I know has something to do with the s1:
