Android developers are pretty familiar with overclocking the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) of various Android devices. Overclocking the newer devices, such as the Nexus One and EVO 4G, is much more difficult due to its so-called QSD Snapdragon GPU chips. The developers still haven’t succeeded in overclocking these chips, because the chips handle the graphics differently from the MSM chips found on older Android devices. XDA member and Android developer Geniusdog254 has now started this project and is now actively working on it, with the help of other developers.

I’m sure we all heard about being able to overclock the GPU on some of the old MSM devices, but the Snapdragon handles the graphics chip in a different way. The goal of this thread is to try and overclock the GPU on Snapdragon devices as well.
The good news is that Qualcomm just released new video drivers, which seem to be a lot better for development purposes. The thread is instantly updated with any updates from the developer.
