PSXPeria Now Mostly Working for the Xperia Play

The PSXPeria Project is one of those pieces of software that isn’t very well known, but one that everyone who owns a Sony Ericsson Xperia Play should have. The premise, as stated in its Github:
This tool will take a PSX image that you legally own and convert it to be playable on the Xperia Play with the emulator extracted from the packaged game “Crash Bandicoot.”
For those who don’t quite know what that means, it basically says that this software will take any legally owned PSX image and make it work on the Xperia Play. Who doesn’t want that? XDA Senior Members fma965 and Masters2150 have worked diligently together, along with some help from some others, to bring Xperia Play users the PSXPeria software.
The software itself appears to be pretty straight forward and easy to use. Simply open up the GUI, follow the instructions and the program will convert the PSX image into the appropriate format to be used on the Xperia Play. For those who have trouble understanding the written instructions posted by Masters2150, fma965 has also posted a very thorough and helpful video tutorial to help users get it done. They have also posted a full list of games that have been proven to be compatible with PSXPeria and that list should keep growing as users try it out and see the results.
Additional info, download links, the full story of how this application came to be and, most importantly, the full list of shout outs to those who helped can be found in the PSXPeria thread. There’s no root required, and these games can be installed and uninstalled without messing with any system files.
