When publishing an app or a custom ROM, you need to sign the .apk or .zip files with a certificate using a private key. The Android system uses the certificate to identify the author of an application and establish a trust relationship between applications.
XDA forum moderator andyharney posted an easy-to-use tool that will take a signed or unsigned .apk and re-sign it, or batch sign all .apk files placed in the input folder. The application includes the tools needed to create your own signature, with all the required Java files so there’s no need for a separate Java installation code.
If you find it useful please leave your comments to developer.
