Quickly Type Where You Want to Go With QuickGo for Android

Are you using your Android device as a GPS unit a lot? If you are, then you may agree with the annoyance of having to launch your navigation app every time before you can search for your destination, particularly if you are in the car. If this sounds a little too familiar, then you may want to check out what XDA member joemarshall prepared. QuickGo is basically a full screen sized keyboard that will allow you to type in your destination without having to go through launching the app and everything else. The dev recommends making a shortcut of this app on your Car Home app in your Android device, if you use it. Just think about it, no more trying to hit those small letters when you just got off the plane and can’t see straight.
If you like this app, please be sure to leave some feedback.
In case anyone is interested, a quick app I put together which provides a large keyboard, with both numbers and letters, which lets you launch navigation to an address very quickly.
The big keyboard is great for typing addresses in while the phone is on a car dashboard.
The separate numbers are dead useful if you live somewhere like the UK, with number /letter postal codes, as you don’t have to keep switching to get the number bits.
Works great from Google Car Home.
You can find more information in the application thread.
