Having a device like the ones we feature at xda and knowing about this site will give you a certain chance to do things to your device that may end up soft bricking it. The fear and sweaty palms that you get when you are witnessing your investment struggling to wake up is nothing short of a despairing moment. When this happens, you normally go running to your device forum and either ask for help or read up and look for a solution. If you have a Motorola Bionic and are currently in this position, we are happy to let you know that your search is over thanks to XDA member dhacker29. The dev has put together a Windows script which turns a multiple step solution for your soft brick into a speedy, couple of clicks solution. Simply download the script, connect your device via usb, run it, and you should be up and running in no time.
Please leave some feedback behind if this has worked for you.
I have zipped up the windows fastboot binary, boot.img, system.img, and a custom script so that all you have to do is download the zip. Extract it to a folder and double click on One-Click Fastboot Restore to recover from a bootloop or softbrick on your BIONIC.
