If you’re not a big fan of the HTC Sense LockScreen that comes default on your new Thunderbolt, XDA forum member Master™ has posted a simple script to remove it from your Android device.
It’s a simple script for ClockWorkRecovery that removes the HTC Sense LockScreen files, so that you can use the stock AOSP LockScreen. Note that this is not a theme, although it should be simple enough for anyone to make this into a theme. Root access is required.
Also note that removing the htclockscreen.apk will also remove any controls that were tied into the lockscreen originally such as the lockscreen music controls.
To compare the two lockscreens and to download the script, head on over to the forum thread._________
