Harness The Power of OCD on Your Android Smartphone’s OC

If you’re anything like the rest of us ORDers, you’re a fan of XDA forum member coolbho3000‘s wonderful SetCPU utility. However, while SetCPU lets you create and specify over-clocking profiles, the list of profile entry conditions is a bit sparse.
Luckily, Android’s many automation utilities excel at creating and executing condition-based commands. Using Tasker as his reference, XDA forum member brandall has compiled all of the relevant information that you need to get started with profile-based CPU control.
This thread is to show, assist and learn (from your input) how to fully utilise the newly introduced CPU controls, with the ultimate goal of preserving battery life without using additional applications such as SetCPU or other power saving scripts.
Does this sound interesting to you? If you have even a smidgen of ORD, be sure to continue on to the tutorial thread to get started!
